Holiday Lights

Where are they?

By Cathy Fox-Christensen December 1, 2017

Well it is that time of year where we can see the spirit of the season in the form of holiday lights. We have had a tradition since our son was five to see the Phalenโ€™s Holiday Lights show. Each year brought on some of the light displays but each year we were assured that there was something new and exciting added to the displays.

Each year we would pile into the car knowing that during the show our son would end up in the front seat taking random pictures and finding the new displays. The cost was $10 per car and well worth the entrance fee!

This year would have been the same, but we were disheartened to hear that the Phalen Holiday Lights will not be there. The cost and time had finally taken its toll. We told our son and he was disappointed, he loves those traditions โ€“ they get him into the holiday spirit and well us too.
So, with that no longer an option, I am coming to you my readers to give us all ideas of great HOLIDAY LIGHTS displays throughout the Maplewood and the Eastside of St. Paul. Pop them in the comments below so that everyone in the area can see!
